Verdant Frontier
• Trying various fragrances is hobby to a lot of us. This hobby led me to buy Versace L’Homme once and I fell in love with that and always looked for something like that or even a clone would do. This fragrance reminds me of that same goodness. Maybe they are not exactly the same but they have huge similaties. Also this is very similar to Paco Rabbane Pour Homme and almost identical twin of YSL Kouros.
• Fragrance: Don’t read the notes. They might seem very complex and for the matter of fact it is. But let me give you a simple comparison to a real life object. If you ever bought a pack of incense sticks and sniff in the paper box of the sticks you get an incensy somewhat sweet and leathery smell, this is just like that. Kouros and other fragrances mentioned above are most hated on fragrantica but I think that is very unfair and untrue. Although fragrance is very subjective but I don’t know how can anyone hate this dna. This is such a beautiful smell to be sniffed and for me it is addictive. Obviously a old school, not barbershopy but this is an image of those old school insanely strong sweaty powerful men who never compromised or settled for anything less.
• People who only love to be smelt like cotton candy or sweet sweet water might not like it but people who appreciates oud (although there is no oud in this one) or barbershop or dark scents will surely appreciate this beauty. This is very much wearable and doesn’t offend anyone. I feel very confident and poweful applying this on me. You’ll feel the masculinity and the adrenaline rush immediately after applying. I think every man should have atleast a small bottle of this unique piece.
• Performance: Beast of the beats. 3-4 hours of projection on me. Lasts forever.
• I’m sure the price will increase of this one just like Dapper Barber, this is that good.
